The Global Solar SUNLINQ™ 6.5W solar panel with PowerFLEX™ technology is a flexible, foldable, and durable solar panel and rechargeable battery charger kit that produces enough power to charge rechargeable, flash lights, lanterns, cell phones, GPS units, satellite phones, MP3 players and portable games. Just about anything that is capable of being charged through a standard cigarette lighter adapter (CLA -car charger). An Accessory Pack including female CLA, male CLA, SAE barrel connector plug, battery clamps and 8ft. extension cord with SAE connectors comes with each SUNLINQ™ unit.
Sunlinq panels made with PowerFLEX™ technology have a polyurethane coating and are lightweight, flexible, weatherproof and durable. CIGS (copper indium gallium diselenide) solar cells, a material proven to be stable, and provides higher efficiency than other flexible solar cell technologies, including amorphous silicon.
The lightweight 6.5W Sunlinq solar panel is capable of charging a huge range of small electronics (less than 3.5W) with a variety of voltages.
The stylish Sunlinq is small enough to slip in a cargo trouser pocket, but opens up into a powerful portable solar panel that can charge the PowerBank within 7-8 hours of sunlight. Once full, the PowerBank can recharge many popular mobile phones, PalmOne Tungsten and Zire series handhelds, HP iPAQ PDA´s, Asus MyPal series, Toshiba e800, Mio 168 Pocket PC Phones, imate Pocket PC Phones, and a range of Digital cameras, MP3 players and other mobile audio devices.
SunLinq series panels cannot be used to charge large Lithium Ion or NiMH batteries but can be used for small Lithium Ion and NiMH batteries such as those that are in personal electronic devices (cellphones, iPods, etc). They can be used for charging flooded lead acid batteries as well.
