The Katadyn Vario spare filter is used as a replacement cartridge for the Katadyn Vario Microfilter. It is effective in killing the water borne organisms.

The 0.3 micron high surface area pleated glass fiber microfilter removes waterborne bacteria and cysts. It also keeps water tasting fresh and the multi-water adaptor base makes it easy to fill any water bottle, container or bladder. It reduces chemicals, pesticides, bad taste and odor in water.
