Compact Katadyn Pocket Filter Element is used as a replacement cartridge for the Katadyn PF. It is effective in killing the water borne organisms.
The Ceramic filter is silver-impregnated to inhibit bacterial growth inside its pores. The 0.2 micron ceramic filter element is effective against all protozoa, bacteria (including smaller ones such as Campylobacter) and Viruses. It filters up to 13,000 gallons of water before needing replacement.
