Founded in 1990, 'Nomad Travel Stores and Clinics' have been kitting out travellers with clothing, equipment, books and maps, medical supplies and vaccinations for more than 16 years.

As Nomad's expertise has developed they have increased working relations with many companies in the travel industry such as overland companies, tour operators and travel agencies. Nomad also support many expedition organisations, including the Royal Geographic Society, who venture out to remote countries often participating in conservation work or independent expeditions that have set personal challenges. These include many from universities across the UK.

Progressively, Nomad started bottling their own insect repellents, making travel medical kits and other travel health related products.
